HEMOSTASIS HAPPENINGS: FEBRUARY 2011WHAT’S HAPPENING IN COAGULATION: February 2011Indiana Hemophilia & Thrombosis CenterPRN is an online collaborative program by the Hemophilia Foundation of Michigan, the Region V-East regional grantee and core center, the IHTC, and Partners in Bleeding Disorders Education. The goal of PRN is to address gaps in current training programs for HTC professionals. Building on the demonstrated success of other Partners in Bleeding Disorders Education programs, PRN utilizes web-based technology to offer online access to selected Partners in Bleeding Disorders Education educational activities. PRN will offer expanded educational content and resources that providers can access at their convenience. The content will include instruction on and support for projects and protocols such as the Universal Data Collection (UDC) project and other national priorities and initiatives. The Musculoskeletal (MSK) Congress is a wonderful opportunity for those with an interest in the musculoskeletal aspects of hemophilia to meet and exchange experiences. Traditionally, attendees have included orthopedists, physiotherapists, physiatrists, hematologists, and scientists; however, we look forward to welcoming any and all who are interested in this area. There will be ample opportunity to share new ideas between peers, colleagues, and friends, and for establishing new contacts with people from all over the world. Congress summary The 12th International Musculoskeletal Congress is organized by the World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH) in collaboration with the Hemophilia Society of Egypt, and the Musculoskeletal Committee of the WFH.
