Thromboprophylaxis in Obstetrics: A Workshop for Midwives and Obstetricians 5th October 2011

This meeting is part of a new UK Thromboprophylaxis Forum initiative for Midwives and Obstetricians.

Professor Beverley Hunt, Haematologist at Guy's and St Thomas's Hospital has taken the lead for the programme and along with Obstetrics colleagues and also the Royal College of Nursing and National Nursing and Midwifery Network, has come up with an afternoon to discuss issues within thromboprophylaxis.

The meeting promises to be very interactive and is aimed at consultants leading obstetric teams to midwives and anti-coagulation nurses from the unit.

The meeting will be held on the 5th October 2011 at 20 Cavendish Square, a really central venue in London with access from Oxford Circus or Bond Street stations. It will begin at mid-day with lunch and will finish at 5.30pm.
