Description:  The 4th Annual VTE Conference topics will address: maignancy and thrombosis, VTE in women, heparin induced thrombcytopenia, new anti-thrombotic agents on the horizon, medical economics, peripheral vascular disease and thrombosis. * Manage patients with VTE and at risk for VTE efficiently and cost effectively by applying fundamental principals of VTE therapy, especially orthopedic,  obstetric and cancer patients.
* Identify patients who need further work up for VTE and those that need aggressive treatment for PE.
* Discuss new anti-coagulation therapies as they relate to patients with VTE, at risk for VTE and those with atrial fibrillation
* Execute standardized protocols for ridging anticoagulation therapy for invasive procedures.
