Intended use: The Fibriphen 1 kit is a thrombin reagent proposed for the quantitative determination of Fibrinogen in human citrated plasma using a clotting method (Clauss method). Assay principle: In the presence of a constant and in excess amount of thrombin, the clotting time obtained for a diluted citrated plasma depends on the plasma fibrinogen concentration. Assay specimen: Human plasma obtained from Trisodium Citrate anticoagulated blood.
