Highly purified bovine thrombin and Factor Xa from HYPHEN BioMed for coagulation assay development and pharmacopoeial heparin potency research.
Bovine Thrombin (mainly alpha-form) is available in 21 NIH, 1000 NIH, and 6 x 21 NIH formats — activated from bovine prothrombin with FXa, FV, and calcium, then specifically purified and stabilized.
Bovine Factor Xa is prepared from highly purified bovine Factor X by Russell's Viper Venom (RVV) affinity activation — bovine FXa is specified in pharmacopoeial heparin anti-Xa potency methods (USP Chapter 208 and Ph. Eur. Chapter 2.7.12) and is the standard enzyme for BIOPHEN™ chromogenic anti-Xa assay systems.
