HEMOCLOT™ Protein S is a clotting-based activity assay using PS-deficient plasma substrate with APC — detecting Type I and Type III functional PS deficiency.
LIAPHEN™ Free Protein S is a liquid ready-to-use latex turbidimetric assay for free PS antigen (the biologically active form not bound to C4b-BP).
ZYMUTEST™ Free Protein S and Total Protein S ELISAs complete the workup: Type I deficiency shows low total and free PS; Type II shows normal antigen but reduced activity; Type III shows reduced free PS with normal total PS.
ZYMUTEST™ Anti-Protein S IgG and IgM antibody ELISAs are available for autoimmune PS deficiency investigation.
