Antithrombin (AT) assays from HYPHEN BioMed for diagnosis and classification of AT deficiency — the most thrombogenic hereditary thrombophilia.
BIOPHEN™ Antithrombin uses human Factor Xa (anti-Xa method) to detect all AT deficiency subtypes including Type I, Type II Reactive Site (II-RS), Type II Heparin Binding Site (II-HBS), and pleiotropic variants.
BIOPHEN™ AT Anti-IIa uses bovine thrombin for complementary anti-IIa measurement — essential for detecting Type II HBS deficiency where anti-Xa activity may be normal.
LIAPHEN™ AT is a liquid ready-to-use latex turbidimetric immunoassay for AT antigen quantification, enabling Type I versus Type II classification when combined with activity results. Available in 2.5 mL and 5 mL formats; FDA 510(k) cleared and CE-IVD marked.
