Component availability allows high-volume testing facilities to purchase frequently consumed reagents — ONPG substrate solution and reference standard compounds — in larger formats without purchasing complete kit sets.
XenoScreen YES components available individually include: freeze-dried recombinant Saccharomyces cerevisiae expressing human estrogen receptor alpha (hERα) with lacZ reporter; ONPG (o-nitrophenyl-β-D-galactopyranoside) substrate solution for beta-galactosidase endpoint measurement; and 17β-estradiol (E2) reference standard solution for standard curve preparation.
XenoScreen YAS components include: freeze-dried recombinant S. cerevisiae expressing human androgen receptor (hAR) with lacZ reporter; ONPG substrate solution; dihydrotestosterone (DHT) standard solution for agonist standard curve; and flutamide reference compound for antagonist mode validation.
