HEMOCLOT™ LA-S (screen) uses dilute Russell's Viper Venom Test (dRVVT) with low phospholipid content to maximize LA sensitivity.
HEMOCLOT™ LA-C (confirm) uses high phospholipid content to neutralize LA activity — the screen/confirm ratio above the laboratory cut-off confirms LA presence.
CEPHEN™ LS lupus-sensitive APTT provides the second required reagent system for the ISTH two-reagent LA testing algorithm.
LA control plasmas are available as weak positive, high positive, or combined weak/high positive sets — validated for use with both HEMOCLOT™ LA-S/LA-C and CEPHEN™ LS.
