BIOPHEN CS-series chromogenic peptide substrates from HYPHEN BioMed — direct equivalents to the Chromogenix S-series — for thrombin, Factor Xa, activated Protein C, kallikrein, plasmin, urokinase, tPA, and related serine proteases.
All substrates release para-nitroaniline (pNA) upon cleavage for spectrophotometric measurement at 405 nm. CS-01(38) (H-D-Phe-Pip-Arg-pNA, equivalent to S-2238) is the reference thrombin substrate.
CS-11(32) (Boc-Ile-Glu-Gly-Arg-pNA, equivalent to S-2732) is the reference Factor Xa substrate for anti-Xa heparin and DOAC assays.
CS-21(66) (equivalent to S-2366) is the core substrate for Protein C chromogenic assays.
