BIOPHEN™ chromogenic assays and substrate plasmas from HYPHEN BioMed for hemophilia A and B diagnosis, inhibitor testing, and factor concentrate monitoring.
BIOPHEN™ FVIII:C uses human Factor IX and Factor X reagents validated for emicizumab (Hemlibra®) FVIII-like activity measurement — the method recommended by international guidelines for FVIII monitoring in patients receiving emicizumab prophylaxis. BIOPHEN™ FVIII Variant uses bovine Factor X and is specifically insensitive to emicizumab, enabling accurate measurement of endogenous or infused FVIII separately from emicizumab activity.
BIOPHEN™ Factor IX chromogenic assay is traceable to the WHO international FIX standard and validated for monitoring extended half-life FIX products including Alprolix®, Idelvion®, and Rebinyn®. FVIII inhibitor plasmas at mild, moderate, and severe levels validate Bethesda and Nijmegen-modified Bethesda assay performance.
