LIAPHEN™ Fibrinogen is a latex turbidimetric immunoassay for fibrinogen antigen quantification in citrated plasma. Unlike the von Clauss method (FIBRIPHEN™), this measures total fibrinogen antigen regardless of functional status. Useful for detecting dysfibrinogenemia when paired with von Clauss results (discrepant antigen vs. activity levels). Automated on Sysmex CA/CS/CN analyzers. CE-IVD. 4x5 mL.

  • Intra-Assay CV: < 4%
  • Inter-Assay CV: < 8%
  • No hook effect is observed for Fibrinogen concentrations < 100 Âľg/mL
  • No interference is observed for Unfractionated Heparin concentrations < 2 IU/mL in plasma.
  • The presence of rheumatoid factor may result in an overestimation of the Fibrinogen concentration.
