Rapid Micronucleus MoA (Mode of Action) Centromere Telomere is a ready-to-use kit for fast identification of chromosomal breakage (clastogenic effect) or damage to the spindle apparatus (aneugenic effect) in dividing mammalian cells — including primary human lymphocytes and the TK6 cell line. 20-slide format.

Uses simultaneous centromere and telomere FISH with peptide nucleic acid (PNA) probes on binucleated cells to distinguish:

• Centromere-positive micronuclei → aneugenic mechanism (chromosome mis-segregation)
• Centromere-negative / telomere-positive micronuclei → clastogenic mechanism (chromosome breakage)

Also detects nucleoplasmic bridges (NPBs) and nuclear buds (NBUDs). Compliant with OECD TG 473 and OECD TG 487 guidelines.
