XenoScreen XL YES (Yeast Estrogen Screen) kit for detecting estrogenic agonistic and antagonistic activity. 4/32 sample kit without strains.

Uses recombinant yeast expressing human estrogen receptor alpha coupled to lacZ reporter. Colorimetric readout for EDC screening.

Product Characteristics

  • Accelerated high-sensitivity microplate assay for the detection of compounds with estrogenic activity, using Saccharomyces cerevisiae strains with human estrogen (hERα) receptor.
  • Each XenoScreen XL YES assay kit contains media and reagents for the analysis of 4 test compounds for agonistic and antagonistic estrogenic (YES) endocrine activity.
  • Use your own aliquots of YES yeast cells or order them separately: XenoScreen YES Strain, 1 vial, N05-230-E.
  • The compounds are tested in 8 dilutions. Each assay has its own positive and negative controls.
