5α-Dihydrotestosterone (DHT) positive agonist control for XenoScreen YAS (Yeast Androgen Screen) assay. DHT is the most potent natural androgen receptor (AR) agonist, binding human AR with significantly higher affinity than testosterone.

Used to validate YAS assay performance by confirming androgen receptor-mediated transcriptional activation of the lacZ reporter gene in recombinant yeast. A positive DHT response confirms the yeast expresses functional human androgen receptor (hAR) and the assay is correctly operating in agonist mode.
