17β-Estradiol (E2) positive agonist control for XenoScreen YES (Yeast Estrogen Screen) assay. E2 is the primary endogenous estrogen and the reference agonist for human estrogen receptor alpha (ERα) expressed in the YES recombinant yeast strain.

Used to validate YES assay performance by confirming ERα-mediated transcriptional activation of the lacZ reporter gene. A positive E2 response confirms that the yeast expresses functional human ERα and the assay correctly detects estrogenic agonist activity.
