Flutamide (FL) positive antagonist control for XenoScreen YAS (Yeast Androgen Screen) assay in antagonist mode. Flutamide is a non-steroidal antiandrogen that competitively inhibits the human androgen receptor (hAR) without activating it.

In antagonist mode, the YAS strain is co-exposed to a fixed concentration of DHT (agonist) and the test compound. A positive flutamide response — reduced β-galactosidase activity versus DHT-only control — confirms the assay correctly detects AR antagonist activity.

For use with XenoScreen XL YAS (ref. AN32-234-Y) and XenoScreen XL YES/YAS (ref. AN04-233-Y) in antagonist screening mode. Research use only.
