PB/β-Naphthoflavone (phenobarbital/β-naphthoflavone)-induced Hamster Liver S9 fraction, liquid format. 3 mL. Post-mitochondrial supernatant pooled from Golden Syrian Hamster livers with broad cytochrome P450 coverage via dual PB/β-NF co-induction.

Hamster liver S9 has a distinct cytochrome P450 enzyme profile compared to rat S9. Hamster S9 is used preferentially in the Enhanced Ames Test (OECD 471) for nitrosamines and in ADME pharmacokinetic studies where hamster-specific metabolic bioactivation is required or preferred. Provides complementary metabolic activation to standard rat S9 for compound-specific genotoxicity studies.
