Specialized TG (Tryptophan-Galactose) growth medium for the umuC SOS genotoxicity assay (ISO 13829) with the TA1535[pSK1002] tester strain. Also included in the umuC Easy CS ready-to-use kit (ref. AG06-118-P).

TG Medium is a selective growth medium supporting TA1535[pSK1002] bacteria during the umuC SOS response assay. Galactose in the medium serves as the substrate for the β-galactosidase (lacZ) reporter enzyme — enabling colorimetric SOS induction quantification via ONPG conversion to o-nitrophenol at 420 nm.
