UmuC TG growth medium is a specialized selective growth medium used in the umuC SOS response test with TA1535[pSK1002] Ames tester strain.

The medium is also included in the ready to use kit "UmuC Easy" for the identification of genotoxic chemicals in industrial effluents, municipal waste water, potable, surface or ground water, water soluble air pollutants, complex food packaging material. The medium is compliant with ISO 13829.

The medium can also be used for the high-performance thin-layer chromatography (HPTLC) based SOS-Umu-C Bioassay.
