Latex turbidimetric immunoassay (LIA) for quantitative determination of antithrombin antigen (AT:Ag) in human citrated plasma. Liquid ready-to-use. CE-IVD.

AT:Ag quantification distinguishes between AT deficiency types: Type I (reduced concentration and activity) vs Type II (normal concentration, reduced activity). For complete AT typing, use with BIOPHEN™ Antithrombin activity assay.

  • Fully automatable on coagulation analyzers
  • Liquid ready-to-use, 2 × 2 mL (R1) + 2 × 10 mL (R2)

Product Characteristics

  • Total Assay Time: < 10 min
  • Detection Threshold: ≤ 5%
  • Dynamic Range: 0 to 150%
  • Intra-Assay CV: < 4%
  • Inter-Assay CV: < 8%
  • No hook effect is observed for AT concentrations ≤ 200% (7.5 µg/mL of purified ATIII).
  • No interference is observed for: Unfractionated Heparin (UFH) and Low Molecular Weight Heparin (LMWH) ≤ 2 IU/mL,
    Bilirubin ≤ 0.2 g/L, Haemoglobin ≤ 2 g/L, Intralipid® ≤ 0.75% (corresponding to 20 g/L of triglycerides).
  • The presence of rheumatoid factor may result in an overestimation of the AT concentration.

LIAPHEN AT kit is a latex immunoassay for measuring Antithrombin (AT) in human citrated plasma, using a manual or an automated method, exclusively in vitro. This kit is for research use only and should not be used for patient diagnosis or treatment.
