Antiphospholipid antibody (APA) ELISA assays from HYPHEN BioMed for the serological diagnosis of antiphospholipid syndrome (APS).

Anti-cardiolipin (aCL) and anti-phospholipid antibodies of IgG, IgM, and IgA isotypes are one of the three criteria antibodies required for APS classification alongside lupus anticoagulant and anti-beta-2-glycoprotein I. APS is associated with arterial and venous thrombosis, recurrent pregnancy loss, and thrombocytopenia.

Testing per Sapporo/Sydney APS classification criteria requires two positive results at least 12 weeks apart. For complete APS workup, use alongside HEMOCLOT™ LA-S/LA-C dRVVT assays for lupus anticoagulant and anti-beta-2-glycoprotein I antibody ELISAs.
