5-ENZYME Aprotinin, 250 mg, Lyophilized Powder. Aprotinin is a polyvalent reversible inhibitor of serine proteinases, including trypsin, plasmin, trypsinogen, urokinase, chymotrypsin, kallikrein, elastase, Factor XIIa, and others. Contains 58 amino acids and forms stable complexes with target enzymes. Applications include: targeted protease inhibition, protein isolation, removal of reactive proteases through solid phase, inhibition of undesired proteolytic activity in laboratory assays, blocking fibrinolytic activity in vitro, and protein purification. Can be reconstituted with 5 mL distilled water for approximately 50 mg/mL solution. Stable at 2-8C up to expiration date; up to 6 months stored below -20C.
