Lyophilized human citrated plasma immunodepleted for Factor XIII (FXIII / Fibrin-Stabilizing Factor). Residual FXIII activity <1%. 6 × 1 mL. Research use only.

Substrate for FXIII activity assays. FXIII (plasma transglutaminase) cross-links fibrin to form a mechanically stable clot. FXIII deficiency causes severe bleeding and poor wound healing — importantly, it is not detected by routine PT or APTT screening (both normal). FXIII deficiency must be measured by a dedicated chromogenic assay such as BIOPHEN™ FXIII (ref. A227005).
