BIOPHEN® CS-31(02) — specific chromogenic substrate for Kallikrein activity measurement. Structure: D-Pro-Phe-Arg-pNA. Highly purified and stabilized. Research use.

CS-31(02) is cleaved by plasma kallikrein and tissue kallikrein, releasing pNA measured at 405 nm. The D-Pro-Phe-Arg sequence provides selectivity for kallikrein over other coagulation serine proteases. Used in contact activation pathway research, prekallikrein assay development, bradykinin generation studies, and FXII-initiated kallikrein activation research.
