Product Description

Chromogenic anti-Xa assay for antithrombin (AT) activity in human citrated plasma. Uses human Factor Xa. CE-IVD / HCL.

AT deficiency — classified into Types I and II — is the most thrombogenic hereditary thrombophilia. Type I: reduced AT concentration and activity. Type II: normal concentration but reduced activity at reactive site (RS), heparin binding site (HBS), or both (pleiotropic).

  • No interference for hemoglobin concentrations up to 5 mg/mL, for Bilirubin concentrations up to 0.1 mg/mL, and for plasma from hyperlipaemic patients.

  • R2: 2 x 2.5 mL Chromogenic substrate, specific for Factor Xa (SXa-11).
  • R3: 2 x 5 mL of Tris-Heparin Buffer.

Measurement of ATIII activity in biological milieu or purified fractions.
