HEMOCLOT™ LA-C (Confirm) is the confirmatory dRVVT reagent with HIGH phospholipid concentration. If LA-S screening was prolonged, LA-C confirms LA by "neutralizing" the phospholipid-dependent antibody with excess phospholipid — clotting time normalizes. Calculate LA-S/LA-C ratio: >1.2 confirms lupus anticoagulant presence. CE-IVD.

Product Characteristics

  • HEMOCLOTâ„¢ LA-C contains a higher phospholipid concentration, expected to neutralize LA present in the test plasma, and thus shorten clotting time.
  • No significant Heparin interference up to 1 IU/mL in the tested sample.
