Diluted Russell's Viper Venom Test (dRVVT) for lupus anticoagulant (LA) screening in human citrated plasma. CE-IVD.

Lupus anticoagulant is associated with antiphospholipid syndrome (APS), recurrent pregnancy loss, and unexplained thrombosis. Per ISTH guidelines, LA testing requires both a sensitive screen and a confirming test. HEMOCLOT™ LA-S is the screening step.

  • dRVVT method — one of two ISTH-recommended LA test systems
  • Use with HEMOCLOT™ LA-C (ref. CK091K) for complete dRVVT screen/confirm workflow
  • LA Control Plasmas: weak positive (SC082K) and high positive (SC083K) available

Product Characteristics

  • HEMOCLOT™ LA-S is performed with low concentration of phospholipids, thus LA-S clothing time is expected to be prolonged in the presence of LA.
  • No significant Heparin interference up to 1 IU/mL in the tested sample.
