Imidazole Buffer (0.05 M, pH ~7.4). Composition: Imidazole 0.05 M, NaCl 0.1 M, Sodium Azide 0.2 g/L. 1 × 15 mL. Class I General Purpose Reagent.

Imidazole maintains stable pH in the physiological range and is used as a coagulation assay diluent where phosphate or Tris buffers are contraindicated. Compatible with clotting and chromogenic assay systems requiring imidazole-based pH buffering. Single-vial format for low-volume laboratory use.
