Product DescriptionFor Research Use Only. Not for Use in Diagnostic Procedures. Lyophilized human citrated plasma immunodepleted for Prothrombin (Factor II). Residual FII activity <1%. CE-IVD. 1 × 1 mL. Substrate for one-stage FII clotting activity assays. Used in combination with PT reagent (PT-Phen™) — the absence of FII causes prolonged PT proportional to FII content in the test sample. FII deficiency is rare but clinically significant; it presents with mixed bleeding and thrombotic manifestations due to prothrombin's dual role as both a pro- and anticoagulant.
