ZYMUTEST™ D-Dimer is an ELISA for measuring D-Dimer (fibrin degradation products) in human plasma. D-Dimer is generated by plasmin degradation of cross-linked fibrin — elevated in VTE, DIC, post-surgery, inflammation, malignancy. High negative predictive value for VTE exclusion (Wells score + negative D-Dimer rules out DVT/PE). Also used for DIC scoring (ISTH criteria). 96-test kit. RUO.
